A New Year, a Fresh Start and Infinite Possibilities.

Happy New Year friends!

Truth be told, 2017 was an eventful year for me filled with many wonderful experiences but also some challenges. I can say that I was ready to close the chapter on 2017 and ready to start the chapter on 2018.

I’ve been thinking a lot about some of the resolutions that I want to make for 2018 as I’m sure you have been.

Here are my TOP 5

{ONE} Spend more QUALITY TIME with my family. I see my family at least a couple of times a week but I don’t feel that I’m 100% engaged when I’m with them. Reason being, my trusty iPhone is always by side. As much as I try, I can’t multitask. I can’t have a meaningful conversation and see what’s happening on Instagram at the same time.

{TWO} Focus on my HEALTH. I recently joined 9 Rounds which is an amazing 30 minute workout but I find that I can’t seem to go as often as I would like. For 2018, I would like to go at least 3 times a week. Exercise is good for the mind and body.

{THREE} Learn to COOK. I’ve made a list of top 10 things that I would like to learn to cook this year. As I learn a dish, I hope to share it with you.

{FOUR} Stay COMMITTED. I find that I have a lot of things that I would like to try and do but I don’t follow through. I’m starting a photography course in January after much “talk” as my hubby would put it and I’m very much looking forward to it.

{FIVE} BALANCE. I want to focus 2018 on finding a healthy balance of all the activities I enjoy.

Leave me a note with your resolutions for 2018. I would love to read your Top 5.

Let’s hold each other accountable for our goals and aspirations for 2018!

  1. Although I don’t make New Year’s resolutions, but believe in making things happen right away instead, I can totally relate to your resolutions. Putting that phone down for example is a great start to actually live life as it happens and not through a lense. I wish you a wonderful 2018 and lots of love!
