I can’t believe it’s been almost 5 months since our baby girl, Ava, was born. Time just flies as a new mom adjusting to a new way of life. My plan was to write this post a lot sooner but couldn’t quite get to it. Things are now starting to settle down as we are slowly getting into a routine.

Our baby girl was born on November 28, 2019 and she’s as perfect as can be. Everything went as planned with her birth; a blessing. We had our new born photos taken one week after our baby girl’s arrival. Ava has the most beautiful big eyes and during the photoshoot she had her eyes open for majority of the photos. We got some really nice captures of her showcasing her personality. When I look at these pictures now, they’re priceless.

The one thing I did want was some of those cute eyes closed newborn photos along with a nice capture of the three of us. But, our baby girl had something else in mind. She just didn’t want to sleep and was crying for half of the photoshoot so needless to say we didn’t quite get those captures. So I thought, why not try another photoshoot at 3 months?

Right around the time of organizing this photoshoot, Pinar of Alpina Photography reached out to me. She’s a full time photographer specializing in family, new born and kids photography. She’s got such a fun and bubbly personality.

Pinar came to our home to take pictures of our baby girl and also of us as a family. She was punctual, easy to work with and brought an array of props with her as well. She put us at ease and made the photoshoot a fun experience.
